On November 7, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics facilitated a visit for 70 lecturers and students majoring in innovation to ISC Hau Giang. The purpose of the visit was to explore activities and internship opportunities available to students.
The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) is currently developing a Bachelor of Technology and Innovation program with the goal of producing graduates capable of managing and implementing new technologies (such as AI, Big Data, and VR/AR) in business settings. The program emphasizes innovation and aims to equip students with the skills to deliver technological solutions that positively impact local economic sectors.
ISC presented its development orientation and guided the delegation to visit businesses and research facilities operating at ISC Hau Giang. Students learned more about innovative start-up activities in the fields of information technology (BPO), agricultural technology (Agtech), and STEM education.
To provide students with practical experience and foster essential skills, UEH will continue to arrange student delegations to visit and observe activities at ISC Hau Giang. These visits will facilitate opportunities for learners to practice teamwork, communication, and confidence, while also helping them identify practical business challenges, particularly those related to innovation in the Mekong Delta region.
