ISC has started the “Journey through Tech Time” project to build an information technology museum at the ISC Hau Giang campus.
The Journey through Tech Time Museum will have a varied collection of artifacts from historical computing devices to modern-day technology devices. Some objectives of the museum include conserving technological heritage, providing information to the public, and educating the public. It will store antiquated information technology artifacts, including those of old computers, electronic type-setting machines, and early methods of data storage. These artifacts will aid in marking the passage of technological advancement and help the industry understand its history.
Furthermore, this project aims at honoring important milestones of technology and encouraging the young people. The museum will have exhibits, workshops, and other educational programs with other schools and universities.
The Saigontimes Foundation, as a strategic partner, conducts outreach work for the museum and collects artifact donations. Together as partners, they aim to build a museum to preserve the rich history of the technology industry and encourage innovative ideas for the future.
