On the afternoon of July 9, 2024, Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province, and a delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Phuong Tuan, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Science, Technology and Environment Committee, visited ISC to learn about its activities. The visit was part of a survey mission on the promulgation and implementation of legal policies relating to information technology (IT), the IT industry, and digital technology in Hau Giang province.

At this event, ISC presented the progress of the construction implementation since the construction permit was granted in October 2023. To date, ISC has invested nearly 4,500m2 office space and utilities to serve three industry groups that ISC is prioritizing for investment attraction, including BPO/GSS (business process outsourcing), Agtech (technology for agriculture), and STEAM education.

To date, ISC has attracted nine technology businesses, with approximately 350 individuals regularly working in the technology sector. Simultaneously, ISC is continuing to focus on perfecting the utilities internal area and the auxiliary works. During this event, the delegation also visited and gained insights into the operations of Digi-texx Viet Nam which is currently active at ISC.
