In the digital age, the tourism industry is entering a period of strong transformation through the application of advanced technology to promote innovation and enhance user experience. One of the prominent trends today is Phygital - the combination of physical and digital experiences. This is not only a tool to help tourists have more vivid, personalized and convenient journeys, but also the key to helping businesses and localities optimize management activities, expand customer access opportunities and move towards sustainable development.
In order to create a space for in-depth discussion on the opportunities and challenges of Phygital technology in the tourism industry, the Workshop “PHYGITAL – Digital transformation trend in tourism industry” is organized by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), represented by the Institute of Smart Cities and Management (ISCM), in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Technology and Innovation Incubation (ISC) and Phygital Labs Joint Stock Company. The conference brings together experts, managers and businesses in the fields of tourism, technology and planning, promising to bring multi-dimensional perspectives on how Phygital is reshaping the tourism experience, from integrating technology into destinations to optimizing the travel journey through smart check-in stations. The conference is part of the CTD Learning & Sharing series of activities - a place to share knowledge, connect experts, businesses and the community, aiming to build an innovation ecosystem and sustainable development.
