Can Tho, May 15, 2026 – This afternoon, a delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA), consisting of over 70 delegates from 25 member enterprises, visited Innovation Services Center (ISC Hau Giang). The delegation was accompanied by Mr. Vo Minh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology.

During the working session, tech enterprises from Ho Chi Minh City engaged in direct discussions to explore investment attraction policies and the current state of technological development in Can Tho City. On this occasion, Mr. Le Thanh Tam, Deputy Director of the Can Tho Department of Science and Technology, highlighted the city’s incentive policies for tech firms operating in the Hau Giang Digital Technology Zone. In addition to national frameworks, Can Tho has recently issued Resolution No. 08/2026/NQ-HDND, dated April 29, 2026, offering special incentives for key digital product manufacturing projects. The resolution also targets research and development (R&D), design, manufacturing, packaging, and testing of semiconductor chips, alongside the construction of artificial intelligence (AI) data centers and innovative startups within the digital tech industry. This is considered one of Can Tho's breakthrough strategies to attract more digital technology enterprises to the city.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited and explored technology research activities at various laboratories, including those applying IoT to aquaculture and mushroom cultivation. Additionally, they learned about the operations of enterprises currently based at the ISC Hau Giang.
