As part of Vietnam Space Week 2026, a series of experiential activities under "STEM Day" and "EdTech Day" took place on May 28 at Innovation Services Center (ISC). Featuring rich, creative, and highly interactive content, the event successfully attracted over 3,000 students and science and technology enthusiasts.

A major highlight was the STEM Competition for middle and high school students, featuring exciting categories such as STEM Robotics & AIoT, STEM Drone, and STEM Bakery. These contests not only required scientific thinking and technological skills but also encouraged innovation and teamwork among the participants.

Additionally, the LEGO STEM activity themed "Build to Launch" provided a lively learning environment, helping students develop design thinking and problem-solving skills through assembling and simulating space models. The experiential space became even more captivating with STEMDOME science film projection technology, VR/AR virtual reality experiences, and various unique simulation activities such as "A Day in the Life of an Astronaut", "Assembling Spaceships – Space Stations", and "Save the Earth". These activities contributed to making science accessible, visual, and deeply inspiring for young people. Within the program's framework, Educational Technology Day (EdTech Day) was also held, introducing advanced educational solutions and products from leading technology corporations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and various other countries.

This was considered a valuable opportunity for students in the Mekong Delta region to access modern educational trends, artificial intelligence (AI) technology, robotics, as well as the digital transformation process in global education.

In addition, the final round of the "NoWaste Now" Competition made a strong impression, 6 outstanding projects from university students across the Mekong Delta. Driven by an innovative spirit, these projects focused on environmental protection and sustainable development, demonstrating the youth's responsibility toward community and social issues.

Concluding the series of activities, the Organizing Committee awarded 42 prizes to outstanding teams. Among them, the STEM Competition presented 36 awards—including first, second, third, and consolation prizes for each category—while the "NoWaste Now" Competition awarded 6 prizes to highly representative and practical ideas.

Another special highlight of Vietnam Space Week 2026 was the "Starry Night – Explore the Night Sky" program, held on the evening of May 28 at ISC. Here, participants were guided by astronomy experts and former astronauts to identify constellations and use telescopes. The program also featured an artistic drone light show, creating a fresh, engaging, and inspiring scientific experience for the astronomy-loving community.
