Can Tho – The Organizing Committee of the NoWaste Now 2026 student startup competition for universities in the Mekong Delta region has officially announced the top 6 teams that successfully passed the preliminary round. These teams will compete in the Grand Finale, scheduled to take place at 1:00 PM on May 28, 2026, within the framework of Vietnam Space Week 2026 hosted at the Innovation Services Center (ISC).

In the Grand Finale, each team will pitch their startup idea in Vietnamese using an English-language slide presentation for 10 minutes. This will be followed by a 10-minute Q&A session with the Panel of Judges. These projects stand out as exceptional solutions in green technology, biorecycling, and circular economy, meticulously developed by students under the mentorship of university faculty members. The Organizing Committee will officially announce the winning teams at 5:00 PM on May 28, 2026.
In addition to the standard competition awards, the first-place team will receive an exclusive privilege: a special networking dinner with former NASA astronauts and world-class astronomical scientists. More information here.
