Hậu Giang, May 13, 2025 — On the morning of May 13, a delegation from the Ministry of Science and Technology, led by Deputy Minister Bùi Hoàng Phương, paid a visit to ISC Hậu Giang to learn more about its operations and initiatives. Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Đồng Văn Thanh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council, along with Mr. Trần Chí Hùng, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
During the working session, representatives from ISC Hậu Giang presented the center’s strategic direction, operational model, advantages, and challenges, and proposed a recommendation for the Ministry of Science and Technology to consider supporting the development of the Hậu Giang Digital Technology Zone in the near future. On this occasion, the delegation also visited several enterprises, including STEAMZONE Mekong and Digitexx Vietnam, as well as various agricultural technology (agtech) projects and research initiatives related to circular farming models.
Mr. Đồng Văn Thanh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, presented the development orientation of the Hậu Giang Digital Technology Zone to the delegation from the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The Deputy Minister of Science and Technology highly commended the establishment of the Hậu Giang Digital Technology Zone. He noted that the zone not only focuses on key sectors such as information technology, agriculture, and education, but also plays a vital role in promoting the deeper integration of science and technology into various industries prioritized in the province’s development strategy.
