In Hau Giang, on the morning of November 13, 2024, ISC Hau Giang and the Hau Giang Provincial Informatics Association held a Workshop on Solutions for Smart Cities. The workshop was attended by over 60 guests, including representatives from government departments, branches, experts in the fields of natural resources, environment, transportation, and technology; businesses; representatives of associations and schools in the province; telecommunications enterprises; technical infrastructure providers; and specialists and engineers of Hau Giang Provincial Informatics Association.
During the workshop, experts from the Taiwan Information Industry Institute (China) presented notable achievements in the development of smart cities in Taiwan (China) as well as new AIoT (artificial intelligence and internet of things) technology solutions. The workshop provided further information, knowledge, and lessons learned from Taiwan (China) in the areas of environment, safety, traffic, and CO2 emission reduction. The experts dedicated significant time to discussion, communication, and answering questions related to the implementation of technology solutions for smart city models.

Following the workshop, ISC Hau Giang will deploy and install several models, including water quality monitoring, electricity consumption monitoring, air quality monitoring, and a vehicle license plate recognition system, in December 2024. This initiative reflects ISC's commitment to establishing ISC Hau Giang as a model for digital technology application in the Mekong Delta region.
